Small breaks quietly cost money.
Spam folder. Slow pages. Broken forms. White screens. A login that fails on launch day. None of it feels “urgent” until a sale or student slips away.
I’m Dave. I’m the Server Savant.
Emails hit the inbox. The website stays fast. The annoying errors get fixed. Your tools stop eating your week.
I help owners who deal with tech because the business needs it — not because they love it. You get one human who owns the mess, answers in plain English, and keeps things quiet for years.
The real problem
You don’t need another dashboard. You need the website, email path, checkout, course access, forms, and tools to keep working — without you becoming the IT department.
Spam folder. Slow pages. Broken forms. White screens. A login that fails on launch day. None of it feels “urgent” until a sale or student slips away.
Host blames the plugin. Plugin blames the theme. Email tool blames DNS. The designer is gone. Chatbots sound sure and still don’t know your setup.
That’s normal — and it’s why this works. I genuinely like getting things running just right, so you don’t have to keep it in your head.
The offer
Server Savant Care is ongoing ownership: keep the stack healthy, fix what breaks, answer the questions, and use good tools (including AI) behind the scenes so the front of the relationship stays human.
Deliverability cleanup, DNS, Amazon SES, newsletter tools, and the “customers never got it” fires.
Updates, security, SSL, performance, uptime, and the annoying errors that keep reappearing on your list.
Serious VPS care when it fits — without you learning server admin.
WordPress, WooCommerce, LearnDash, Ghost, Shopify, Mautic, forms, memberships, course access, and more.
Not a checkbox. A real path back when something goes wrong.
Ask before you buy the tool, move the site, launch the offer, or let AI touch something important.
Copy tweaks, form fixes, page edits, layout cleanup, and the little stuff that makes the business feel lighter.
I use AI behind the scenes so setup, docs, and repeat work get sharper over time — without making you the AI project manager.
Why Dave
Most of my clients are excellent at the thing they sell. They built real businesses. Then the tech started taking up too much space.
I’ve been doing this since 2018 through Client Amp. The pattern is consistent: lots of questions while we stabilize, then quiet months because everything works — and people stay for years because the value is obvious.
If you love tinkering and want a lab partner, I’m probably not the right fit. If you want it handled, I am.
You stay focused on the work customers pay you for. I keep the website, email, server, and tools from becoming your second job.
Built for
Server Savant is not the cheapest host on the internet. It’s for businesses where the site, email list, checkout, course, or customer path is too important to leave unattended.
Courses, memberships, logins, payments, and launch pages have to work when people are ready to buy or learn.
People need to understand the offer, book the call, join the list, and feel like they’re in good hands.
Orders, forms, follow-ups, support inboxes, and automations should move cleanly instead of becoming a second job.
How it feels
This is not a ticket mill. It’s a relationship that gets quieter as the stack gets healthier.
We fix the fires, clean deliverability, sweep errors, set backups/monitoring, and get your questions out of your head.
Updates, security, uptime, and the occasional “hey, this broke” message. Most months you barely need me — and that’s the point.
Clients stick around because the stack stays healthy, the value is clear, and there’s always one person who already knows the setup.

Every plan includes care for the stack and email access to me. Higher tiers add faster reach, text access, and more hands-on help with pages, copy, and launches.

$399/mo
For owners who want Dave closer to the business.
$799/mo

Not sure which plan fits? Use the form. I’ll tell you what makes sense — even if the answer is a one-time cleanup instead of a monthly plan.
Proof

“It has been such a relief to have someone at my fingertips to help with things either when I get stuck or just don't want to deal with it. I've worked with quite a few other web people before and Dave is by far the most efficient, knowledgeable, quick and easy to work with.”

“We got stalled out trying to set up SES ourselves. Multiple rejections from Amazon… I'd already given up… *One* message to Amazon and he got us out of sandbox mode and a 50k / day sending cap. This guy is a wizard.”

“Working with you has been the first time I’ve been happy with a service because you can solve almost any problem I have. It’s incredible.”

“With Client Amp we own our whole stack, it’s all handled and we have the best of the best.”

“I just couldn’t imagine not having Dave on our side.”

“Dave's excellent support saves time and focuses on long-term solutions. His services are worth the investment.”
Questions
You work with me directly. I use AI and automation behind the scenes, but I review the work before anything important changes. You’re hiring a human who knows how to use good tools — not an AI product with a logo.
That’s expected. The first couple months are for questions, cleanup, and getting the stack stable. After that, quiet months are normal — and a good sign.
No. Some clients stay where they are. Some move to a VPS I manage. I’ll recommend the path that makes sense for the business, not the biggest project.
No. WordPress, WooCommerce, LearnDash, Shopify, Ghost, Mautic, email tools, forms, AI workflows, and custom setups. If it helps customers find you, pay you, learn from you, or contact you, it probably matters here.
Growth gives you my number for business-hour questions. Partner adds 24/7 text for urgent issues and a private Slack or Signal channel. When the business depends on the tech, you can reach me.
Nothing changes right now except the name on the website. Same person, same care, same arrangement. I’ll message existing clients separately before any branding or billing changes affect them.
I’ll tell you. You might need a one-time cleanup, a different specialist, or no monthly help yet. I’d rather be honest early than force a bad fit.
No. Hosting can be part of it. You’re really hiring ownership: deliverability, errors, updates, backups, judgment calls, and someone who already knows your setup when something breaks.
