A note from Dave

I've been looking after websites, email and servers for online businesses since 2018, through Client Amp. Most of the people I work with are very good at something that has nothing to do with technology. They teach, coach, write, make art or sell things they care about. The tech has to work, but they don't want to spend their days thinking about it.

For years, that meant website care: updates, backups, security and fixes. That's still the foundation of everything we do. But what a small business runs on has grown. Today it's a website plus a CRM, email marketing, a store or a course platform, a support desk, and now AI.

Most of that is rented, one subscription at a time, and the subscriptions keep getting more expensive. You also pay for plenty of features you'll never use. AI changed that. Software that fits how one business works can now be built quickly and affordably. The catch is that someone has to keep it updated, backed up and working once it's built. That's the part we do.

My own business already runs this way. AI agents help with my accounting, video editing, web building and customer support, and I check their work. It has changed how much I can get done, and I want the businesses I work with to have the same thing without having to look after it themselves.

A lot of owners I talk to have opened ChatGPT, tried a few things, didn't get much out of it and stopped there. I understand why. The tools change every month, and nobody running a business has time to keep up with them. That's what we're for. We take the tech off the table, so you can put your time into the ideas you've been wanting to get to.

I named it Server Savant because every business now runs on servers. They're the computers that hold your information, run your apps and connect your AI to the rest of your tools. You shouldn't need to know how they work, because that's our job.

One more thing I care about: you should own what your business runs on. Everything we build is yours to keep, even if you leave.
