Questions
What does the AI Intensive look like?
It starts with an intake: a short survey, or a video or voice memo. Then you and Dave have a 1-hour live session where you share your screen and build it together. After that, you get 14 days of direct help in your own private support thread for fixes and follow-up questions, and you finish with a 30-minute closing call.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Dave works with everyone from owners who aren't tech people to experienced developers. The intake tells him how comfortable you are, so he can plan the session around you. If a step needs the terminal (the text window where you type commands), he walks you through every part of it.
What if I don't know what I need?
That's what the intake is for. A lot of people know they want AI to help but aren't sure where to start. Dave looks at how you work and suggests the one or two things to set up first.
Can we build more than one thing in a session?
It depends on what we're building. Some people get two or three simple automations done in an hour. An AI agent or a local model usually takes the whole session. The intake helps Dave plan so you use every minute.
Do I need special hardware?
Not to get started. An AI agent can run on a computer you already own, a small computer that stays on, like a Mac mini, or a low-cost cloud server. Local models need more memory, so Dave checks what you have and tells you what's realistic before you buy anything.
How do I get help during the two weeks?
You get a private support thread with Dave. Send a message however suits you: type it, record a voice note or a video, or send a screen recording of what you're seeing. Dave answers in the same thread, in writing, by voice or with a screen recording, whichever explains it best. We aim to reply within one business day.
Who pays for the AI?
You do, directly, through your own AI subscription or account. We set it up with you during the session.
Is my data safe?
We set everything up on your accounts and your computers, so you stay in control. Passwords and API keys (the keys that connect your tools) go in your own password manager, never in a chat window. If privacy matters most to you, a local model and Tailscale help the most.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Mention it in the intake, and we'll send a mutual NDA before the session.
Can I send a video instead of the survey?
Yes. Record your screen or a voice memo that walks through how you work, what's slowing you down and what you want AI to do. Email it to [email protected] with your name and booking confirmation. Some people find it easier to talk it through than type it out.
What happens after the two weeks?
You keep everything we built. It's on your computer and your accounts, so you can keep running it yourself. If you'd rather we look after it, our Systems plan sets up an AI agent for your business and keeps it current, along with the rest of your setup, with help from a real person.
How does the credit toward Systems work?
If you start a 12-month Systems plan within 30 days of your closing call, the full $2,999 comes off your first year, as a lower monthly price: about $549 a month instead of $799 for those 12 months. It doesn't apply to Care or to month to month. If you leave before the 12 months are up, you lose the credit you haven't used yet, and it's never paid back as cash.
What's your refund policy?
If you change your mind before your first call, we refund you in full. Once the first call has happened, there are no refunds.
